British elections – statement from the LINKE Berlin Internationals and what to do on election night

On Thursday, there will be general elections in Berlin. DIE LINKE Berlin Internationals Group is calling on the 140,000 British voters in Germany to support Jeremy Corbyn (full statement here).

Whatever happens in the election campaign, Corbyn’s Labour have fought a tremendous campaign. They started the election trailing by 20% in the polls, yet the latest polls are predicting a hung parliament. If trends carry on the way they have, Labour could win. If you have voting rights in Britain, please use them. Please also make sure that everyone you know will be voting for Corbyn.

On Thursday evening we will be watching the election results together. We will announce the venue soon and send more information to our mailing list (to join the list, please send a mail to lag.internationals@die-linke-berlin.de).
