Die LINKE Berlin Internationals in May

Hi everyone

Some quick information from the Berlin LINKE Internationals:

We have a stall at the MyFest – 1 May between 1pm and 6pm in the field in front of Bethanien on Mariannenplatz. We’re looking for people to help out – everyone’s invited. If you know already when you can come, send us a mail, otherwise just turn up. If you have any problems on finding the stall, ring us on 0176 6501 8983

On 17 May we are having a public meeting on the G20 protests in Hamburg in July – 7pm in Karl Liebknecht Haus on Rosa Luxemburg Platz. We’re still booking the final speakers but we plan to have one of the demo organisers, a representative of DiEM25 and speakers from the USA and the Global South. The first leaflets advertising the meeting will be available at the MyFest.

And on 22 May we’ll be having our next normal meeting, 7pm in Die LINKE offices in Neukölln, Wipperstraße 6. Anja Ilic, a socialist from Belgrade will be giving an eye-witness account from the Serbian spring, the largest protests that Serbia has seen in a generation.

Finally, because of an important election meeting in Neukölln, June’s meeting won’t be on the fourth Monday of the month as usual, but on the third – 19 June. Judith Benda, co-speaker of DIE LINKE Berlin Internationals and direct candidate in Neukölln will be joined by Miriam Aced and Tina Lee from Migration voter (https://migrationvoter.com/) to speak about why the German general election is important for internationals

That’s all for now. If you have any questions, please get in touch
