Programme for April – June

Our new flyeflyLeft 2nd-page-001rs showing our coming activities will be ready in time for the Ostermarsch on Saturday, 4 April. If you want any to give out in your area, please contact us by mailing in-europa@die-linke-berlin.de. Alternatively, you can find us at one of the following events:

Saturday, 4 April from 12 noon: Ostermarsch (traditional anti-war demo). Meeting point is Dorothea-Schlegel Platz near U-Bahn Friedrichstraße.

Sunday, 12 April, 4pm: Film “The people speak” followed by discussion with Victor Grossman. Karl-Liebknecht Haus (Rosa Luxemburg Platz) Rosa Luxemburg Saal.

Monday, 13 flyLeft 2nd-page-002April, 7pm: Ukraine: can there be peace? with Tobias Pflüger (deputy leader, DIE LINKE). Followed by discussion on our coming activities. Karl-Liebknecht Haus (Rosa Luxemburg Platz) KIZ.

23-26 April: LINKE Woche der Zukunft. ND building, Franz-Mehring Platz 1 (U-Bahn Ostbahnhof) We will have speakers at 2 workshops on Saturday 25th (more information follows.

Friday 1 May: join us on the Greece solidarity block on the Trade Union demo, come to our stall at the MyFest at Mariannenplatz or join us on the anti-capitalist demo in the evening.

Sunday 3 May, 4pm: Film “Z” by Costa-Gavras followed by discussion on the far-right in Europe. Karl-Liebknecht Haus (Rosa Luxemburg Platz) Rosa Luxemburg Saal.

Monday 11 May, 7pm: Armenia, 1915 Genocide and Turkish elections 2015. With Ani Chakaryan, Andranik Aslanyan and Erkin Erdogan. Followed by discussion on our coming activities. Karl-Liebknecht Haus (Rosa Luxemburg Platz) KIZ.

Monday, 8 June, 7pm: Organising Migrant workers. With a speaker from Respect Berlin (invited). Followed by discussion on our coming activities. Karl-Liebknecht Haus (Rosa Luxemburg Platz) KIZ.

Tuesday, 9 June 7pm: Public Meeting (in German): The new Left in Europe. With Bernd Riexinger and speakers from Greece and Spain. Watch this space.
